Need Help with a Wizard of Oz themed Green/Black Deck

So I'm pretty new at this, but my friends and I have been making theme decks, and I had the idea to make a Wizard of Oz themed deck. My favorite and preferred decks are black/green so I would like to make this deck a combination of the two. Any cards you would suggest??

Unfortunately there isn't much of an option for the ruby slippers (anything involving the name "ruby" is Red).

I kinda looked around and thought of stuff that MIGHT work (obviously there aren't any green wicked witches and flying monkeys) but I hope these give you an idea of what you can do:

Bitterheart Witch, Tree Monkey, Wild-Field Scarecrow, City of Brass, Scarwood Treefolk, Bog Imp, Emerald Medallion, Fork in the Road, Brass Man if you don't mind older cards, also maybe Treasure Keeper?

That's what I was able to come with in like... 15 minutes? If you were to expand your colors you may find more options (I could not find a Wizard of Oz and other staple characters in Green/Black).

I hope this helps. I don't know what kind of deck you could build that would fit within the theme and function well, but I wish you luck. Please keep me updated on this. I'm interested in seeing how well this goes.

Spore Flower could represent the poppies? Flowering Field would be better, but it's in white. If you switch to Abzan, there are a lot of white things you could include.

Crystal Ball is also perfect.

Adding White would also allow you to use cats like Pride Guardian. Warden of the Beyond could maybe be the Wizard, if you wanna throw in some exile.

As Yawgmoth73 said: why only black and green? I get the green (wicked witch and all) The wizard himself is very fond of illusions, in mtg this is mostly associated with the colour blue.

The only reason I am thinking black/green is because I currently specialize in creating black/green decks, but I am open to changing it of course. It just depends on what cards I can find.

JararoNatsu Thank you! I am thinking about expanding the colors a bit. The group I play with consistantly focus on one or two color decks, so I'm not 100% confident in my skill making multiple color decks. A lot of these look super helpful, Thank you!!

UpsetYoMama I'm thinking about adding white into this deck as well, as it looks as if I could find more cards fitting the theme in white. Thank you for your suggestions!
