My local meta is fairly LARGE, we average a FNM of 40-55 players on the regular. I run into a lot of mono black devo, esper control, and B/W midrange. I run a Mono-green devo deck with red splashed for Ghor-Clan Rampager and Domri Rade and i do well against everyone but Esper control. So I was thinking of going for the Grull and pounding their faces with a big fat Ruric Thar, the Unbowed . Is it viable, will this deck hold up against midrange and mono black? You definitely want Sylvan Caryatid to be able to cast him in a timely manner. Seems like he'll usually just eat a counterspell. Maybe if this is a big problem, Savage Summoning could find a place in the sideboard.

Rubblebelt isn't the best without some kind of devo mechanic along with him. Slaughterhorn also isn't the best choose. I would go with Mending Touch to save big creatures from a big Supreme Verdict and maybe even Witchstalker so no Hero's Downfall s can kill it.
