Ok, so really wanted to design a legendary crocodile. After finding some amazing artwork online, this is what I came up with:
It's basically an open-ended minus-counter commander that has a powerful ability with a drawback you have to build around. Could you do aristocraps? Could you do voltron? Absolutely! What are your thoughts?
I love the name and design! I think it's pretty flavorful - menace fits, but maybe also trample because he's so large? At 3 colors and 6 mana, I think you can afford to buff the body a bit.
From a play standpoint, -1/-1 counters are always fun to work with, and I assume this would be in an Amonkhet type set with -1/-1 counter support, so it would be cool to get a ton of Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons triggers or the like!

abby315: Thank you for the kind words. I considered trample, but thought it make him too powerful. Which stats would you suggest? The Hapatras of this world are great partners for him, indeed. Nest of Scarabs would be even better as he doesn't shrink it, though.

Here are some recent examples of 3-pip legendaries:
Kogla, the Titan Ape - 7/6, fights, protects itself
Gargos, Vicious Watcher - 8/7, vigilance, Hydra synergies, fights
Atemsis, All-Seeing - 4/5, flies, win the game trigger. Slightly overcosted stats for a more powerful ability.
Green nowadays likes to have /over/statted legendaries /with/ good ETB triggers or synergies. Since Kompyras is in green and has a mixed ETB (requires build-around to be great, can have downside), and no way to protect itself, I think you can get away with something like: 7/7, trample, menace.
The other comparison is of course the Titans, since you have an ETB+attack trigger, but at 3 pips of 3 colors of mana, vs. mono-colored, this is a worthwhile buff.
