How many elves should be in an "elf ball" commander deck?

Hey everyone!

I just built an elfball commander deck in a video on my YouTube channel, but I don't know if I have enough elves in it.

The deck currently has 20 elves, and some of those are elves like Priest of Titania that adds mana equal to the number of elves you have. These cards are in here to generate infinite mana with Staff of Domination , Sword of the Paruns , or Umbral Mantle , but the more I think about it, the more I'm wondering if I even have enough elves to really make this work...

So, if you are an experienced elfball player in commander, tell me what number of elves I really need to do this well!

Not someone who has run elfball here, but 15 seems very low. Do you have a list for us to take a Peek at?

From a cursory glance at other elfball decks, closer to 20-25 is what people are running.

Here's what I've got: The Bloodhall Season 22 - Rhonas the Indomitable

Also, I've managed to fit 20 in now, so I'm going to go ahead and update the original post.

Yeah 15 isn’t nearly enough. You’ll want more elves than anything else. If it’s not an elf, ask yourself if it furthers the purpose of your deck.

Here’s my budget Elfball Ezuri, Claw if Progress deck for reference.

Lol, I love that typo. "Ezuri, Claw if Progres". Fine then I won't progress, because f- that claw.

Thirty Seven, plus Freyalise. I run strictly Elves ONLY in my elfball deck. It was very hard cutting things like Wirewood Symbiote , but i am also running a pretty low #of lands at 33 since my CMC is fairly low.
