Hello moto, what are the funniest things you can do with gates in edh? no Maze´s End combos pls. And is there any infinite or very nice sagas interaction/combo in edh? Happy new year everybody. pd: Bring back Golos.

I use gates in all my watermark decks, but that’s about it. I do love their flavor, but that’s the only place I have them.

You see Nine-Fingers Keene over there? He's trying to get your attention, but the other commanders from Baldur's Gate cut of half of both his index fingers.
Joking aside, without Golos, Keene seems to be the best Gate commander you can find.

Regarding Sagas: I used to have a Satsuki, the Living Lore deck looking to untap her multiple times. The value is real, and having Fall of the Thran and The Mending of Dominaria go off multiple times is pretty damn busted.

Sagas work well with Power Conduit. Take lore counters off the Sagas to repeat their abilities. You can even do this when the last ability is on the stack and the Saga won't be sacrificed.
Sagas also work well with Starfield of Nyx. It brings the Saga back on, so the first two abilities of the Saga get activated in a single turn.

You can be cute and do Ritual type stuff with Baldur's Gate, you can pump a dude with Basilisk Gate, and If you're running Ghyrson Starn, Kelermorph you can do some sheniaghans with Crackling Perimeter also works with similar commanders like torbran
