1st of 14 last MNM, Went 4-0. Many clutch victories.
Match 1 was against 5 color control. The first game I dominated. He didn't have land consistency, and just kept taking hits. Game 2 he got several Anger of the Gods against me and got his win conditions. Last game I was able to sustain my aggro to win and only got boardwiped once.
Match 2 was Mono Blue aggro, tokens. I gotta say, the Chasm Skulker and Master of Waves seemed pretty terrifying. But I went 2-0, Mogis's Marauder got me through the swarm of tokens both games, as a win con.
Match 3 was a budget Temur mid-range. It worked well, Savage Knuckleblade was powerful. However, Dropping bestow creatures or Boon of Erebos on Agent of the Fates Got rid of him. mogis's maurader also came in handy yet again.
Game 4 was of course, Jeskai Mid-range. This one wasn't running rabble master, but it did have the rest of the essentials. Mantis Rider was trouble, but Bile Blight took care of that most of the time. First game, I blew him out, second game he blew me out. The final game was clutch victory with Spiteful Returned's bestow ability on a creature, making my damage 9 instead of 6. He was sitting at 8 life and was tapped out after playing Stoke the Flames and Magma Jet bringing me to 3. He of course had another burn spell if he could survive that turn. It was close, but I won 2-1 and Placed 1st.
