Wake up from the slumber —Aug. 13, 2019

Actually deck wasnt been on hiatus, cuz I always make some changes and tunes in it, but now I will check it more often and will be add a detailed description of each upcoming update.

Hi, CT3993

I want to apologize, it took me so long to reply to your comment.

Firecat Blitz I prefer keep it in wishboard cuz it have big drawback, I only use it when I 100% sure it can whipe my opponents away.

Hi, hoyanader.

First of all, I apologize for the late response mate!

I didnt abondoned this deck and I try to update it with each new MTG release.

At the moment I am in the stage of a "silent observer", cuz to my deep regret, I mostly dont have time to play MTG.

This is quite a beautiful creation. I read your last comment about not being able to play MTG very much - I have been playing this game for 22 years now. Believe me, there will be a time again when you'll have a playgroup and time enough to send Purphorous to the billows again.

Keep at it, this is an amazing and obviously well-loved deck.

Decided to check you out after you upvoted my deck and I gotta say, this is badass dude. I have the cards for it too.

Question, you mention Eidolon of the Great Revel in the guide, but he's not in the actual list and it really is a great deterrent at stopping combos like my deck has in that same vein you could consider Harsh Mentor ?

Hi Inkmoth_!

Eidolon of the Great Revel and Harsh Mentor was in the old version of the deck, with other group slug cards. But after extensive testing I put away many cards and almost abandon the previously chosen game strategy. I always tune this deck up with each new MTG release and in this current version it is the most solid Purphoros deck I could create.

Same as Inkmoth_, checking out your deck after you upvoted mines. I have to say I am impressed with the route you are going for haha. Might I suggest Battle Hymn as a possible mana accelerator? Or is it too slow.

On a side note as well, have you ever tried a Purphy Storm route before?

January 31, 2019 7:15 a.m.

Hi hkhssweiss!

Thx for your suggestion. I will give Battle Hymn a try, second chance I supose, cuz it was in the deck but a long time ago, and then it was not so good on deal as it was on paper.

Never try storm route, but I saw some storm brew Purphoros deck's lets say it's not my type.

I can see what you mean, it's a bit more when you are ahead, but might give it the push when you need more mana. It's a pretty tight list and definitely shows your hard work!
