Long time player, and have been in and out a few years at a time. I've been fortunate enough to have friends start playing, quit, and hand me their cards enough times to have gathered a sizable collection.

I built 60 card decks for many years, under many different formats, most of them are still around in one form or another. Commander definitely rekindled my deck building enthusiasm, and it's what I currently play most of the time.

Building less competitive decks that are quirky and fun to play is my favorite part of MTG.

I suppose this will have to be reworked quite a bit. I don't have the planeswalker base to make this a 'superfriends' deck, but a couple will get in for sure.

Cryptic Gateway would be helpful to push lots of tweeters into play.

Yay birds!

I had Kamahl in here for a long time, and he worked very well. During my last revision, I pushed hard to bring the average CMC of the deck down, so it could combo faster. Since Kamahl requires additional mana investment after he's in play, he got cut.

But don't worry, Kamahl isn't missing out. I put him in charge of my Squirrel deck, and he's never been happier.

Thank you for the compliment! This beast has turned into my favorite deck. Rain of Filth has been in and out a few times - it works very well, but it's dead-in-hand until the turn you go off, so it got cut in favor for things that can be dropped beforehand. Reprocess would fill my hand, but only after I've comboed - and I don't plan on having a 'next turn' at that point. I cut out other draw-on-sac mechanisms as well with that in mind.

Great picks! Both Overlaid Terrain and Gaea's Balance were included in the original build of the deck, but were cut to make room for others.

Natural Balance isn't a card I've seen before...very interesting! I'll consider it for sure.

Thanks again!

Ooo I like Snuff Out, I'll snag one soon. Kokusho is great as well, but I don't own a copy, and he's a bit pricey. The man himself (Gary) should be in here, I'll dig one out of my box for this.

Thank you for stopping by!
