Further optimization —Jan. 28, 2015

With the advent of Fate Reforged and its Dash mechanisms I've decided to make upgrade this deck further:

• First of all, Mardu Scout is a strict upgrade over Viashino Sandscout. It has more power and it can either be Dashed or hardcast, giving this deck more flexibility and freedom.

• There are two cards that fit the 3-cmc slot of Viashino Sandstalker - either Vaultbreaker, a strict upgrade that has an optional loot ability or a more tactical Goblin Heelcutter that causes one creature to be unable to block. Heelcutter will probably be more useful against deck that can mount a wall or a chumper to shunt my damage.

• Also, I've decided to completely ditch Searing Blazes and replace them with an additional Purphoros, God of the Forge and a fourth Magma Jet. Purphoros has proven to be a devastating card whenever I get it on the battlefield, turning my creatures into recursive shocks and being almost impossible get rid of without Oblivion Ring. As for the fourth Magma Jet, this card is just amazing. Burn and consistency in a same neat package. There has been only a handful of situations in which drawing it hasn't been a pleasant event.
