I love goblin decks.. +1, but I do think Goblin Fireslinger is in Standard.

hey garyalfred he said the slinger is the new haste goblin (Battalion - Whenever ~ and at least two other creatures attack, creatures you control gain first strike and trample until end of turn and can't be blocked by tokens this turn.)

Arrrg.. Missed that. That makes sense.

Yeah sorry, I just subbed a 1drop goblin in in order to test it until the loyalist drops. The idea is to drop a loyalist and an overloaded Dynacharge on the same turn and cause a bunch of mayhem.

Burn at the Stake can end the game very early. if you need more mana try Battle Hymn

Are the black cards that are in your sideboard placeholders? Because I don't really see where you plan on getting the black mana from.

I had black mana on the sideboard as well, then Rewdog saw fit to make a comment about my 29 card sideboard so i removed the mana on the assumtion that if i was going to add black cards then I would be smart enough to know that i needed black mana as well.

I have a playset of hellriders, would they find a place in this deck? And what would I cut for them?

February 1, 2013 9:21 a.m.

Splintzer says... #13

Yes I think they would have a spot. could probably cut the Goblin Rally s and 2 Guttersnipe s. or maybe just sub in for all the Guttersnipe .

That looks like a fun deck. Not tier 1 but pretty good.

Battle Hymn could work better than Infernal Plunge if you have a strong creature base, which you most likely will.

Very nice! Very similar idea as well to one I had going on here: Goblin Facepunch

dcarvill: it could but I find that Battle Hymn requires at least 3 creatures on the board to be worthwhile, and in the early rounds i think that infernal plunge is just what I need since it can help me morbid for brimstone volley.

DrFmeat: I love your inclusion of Intangible Virtue and Boros Charm , i bet those cards can make a nice impact on your combat phases.

I strongly think Massive Raid and Five-Alarm Fire have places in competitive Goblin decks. - Dynacharge may have competition.

I played a similar deck to this at an FNM tonight and went 2-2. Turn 2 Hellrider is extremely effective after sacrificing the Goblin Arsonist to Infernal Plunge.

This deck is awesome ;) Cheap and can do a lot of headaches in the opponents
