Hello and cool deck! My main concern is Ad Nauseam, you have a fairly high curve for this card to not kill you quickly.

In my experience Ad Nauseam is mainly worth it, even though I need to use it carefully, I can get around 6 or 7 cards most of the time. I use it only when I really need it, and I tend to have enough life most of the time.

But yeah, it is quite risky. I died a few times because of it. But I still love it.

Scour from Existence might work in place of the Obelisk.

shub I used Scour from Existence for a while and I agree it is a great card but at the time I didn't have that many mana doubling options so it looked to costly for me. Right now maybe Icould give it another go, but I still lack ramp or mana stones in my opinion, so I don't know if cutting the Obelisk would harm my deck or not.

Hey, good to see more people making Toshiro decks, he is also one of my favourite legendaries and decks to use. Now for what matters. I could suggest plenty of stuff but I guess it is easier for you to check out my deck instead, in the description it explains how it works so that might help you if you like the way I built it. I tried to put in it alternative win-cons to avoid relying having the commander on the battlefield, from my experience when people see Toshiro they like to remove it from the game assuming the is built solely around his ability, that's why I felt the need to do that. You do have in your deck 1 card that I have been thinking about putting in my deck for a while, Chainer. But you are missing in your deck what I think to be the most important combo in Toshiro's deck, and that is Forbidden Orchard + Night of Souls' Betrayal. That combo will allow you to trigger Toshiro's ability any time you need at instant speed while giving you mana at the same time, because as soon as the token hits the battlefield he dies. Plus as a bonus Night of Souls' Betrayal helps you deal with token decks, trust me, that card saved me from losing vs a vampire deck because the 1/1 lifelink tokens that the guy was producing were all dying, and shuts down those stupid elf combo decks aswell, as most of the important ones and the tokens are 1/1. The presence of this card on my deck is also why I had to not include 1/1 creatures on my deck, like Royal Assassin for example, but that's ok it's a worthy sacrifice. Altho I have Caged Sun to counteract the -1/-1 effect on my creatures it won't always work so I chose to simply not include those creatures.

Oh, and yes you should put Scour from Existence instead of the Obelisk. The Obelisk is essentially 10 mana, and everybody can see it coming, while Scour is 7 mana that exiles and because it is an instant you can use it twice. If there is a deck to put that card, it's in this deck.

Wintermoon Strong suggestions there, love your deck. Chainer is amazing and I strongly recommand it. I'll think about your suggestions. I'll reinclude Scour from Existence as it was also suggested to me before and see about your combo, though even without it I don't have much trouble activating Toshiro's ability.Thank you so much for your suggestions and keep up the fight ;)
