Do you hate EDH decks? All the expensive commanders, boardwipes, mana sources, and douche-bags who think they are cool because they can build a deck around Zur the Enchanter? Kappa
Then this is the deck for you! The combo is simple: Start the game by just mulling until you get either Noose Constrictor or
Wild Mongrel
in your hand (concede if you don't).
Play lands normally and don't draw attention to yourself. Get either Noose Constrictor or
Wild Mongrel
out. On your fifth turn, cast your commander, play a Forest with the extra land per turn you get form you commander, and swing with Noose Constrictor/
Wild Mongrel
at an open player (if there are none, activate its effect during your main phase until you draw Rancor and play it on it). Then, discard cards like crazy too it (although forty or so should do). Each time you discard a card, discard a land, making you draw a card from the The Gitrog Monster. Pump as necessary and one shot your opponent.
Rinse, wash, repeat, killing opponents as needed; you have an Elixir of Immortality in the sideboard if playing against multiple players, so don't stress to hard if you are running out of cards. If they try to destroy either your commander or the Noose Constrictor/
Wild Mongrel
you have out, activate it's ability in response until you draw the other creature.
The combo is fairly consistent and very potent, especially for commander. However, watch out for kill spells on your creatures before you got them both out, cards that exile, or removal with split second. Other than that, this deck is very go-big-or-go-home and can easily wreck unsuspecting or unprepared players. Plus, it costs next to nothing, so there really is almost nothing to lose!
