It isn't very fast, is it? I will try playing without it. I'm drawn to synergy of cards like that, but it shouldn't be at the expense of speed. I'm just new at this and trying to find cards that work well with Young Pyromancer.

Shard Volley speaks as loud as Lightning Bolt. Also Searing Blaze.
And if you want to repeat... Isochron Scepter is always a possibility.
