Maybeboard

"budget" and "non meta" BO1 deck for just having fun playing games that dont last 4 turns OR drag forever.

Deck has two main winconditions :

  1. Barbed Servitor - damage reflect works wonders in both offense and defense (requires suspect removal through Airtight Alibi or Deadly Complication) and can be forced through Bushwhack

  2. pumping up any creature through Halana and Alena, Partners or Ozolith, the Shattered Spire and transferring effects between creatures through Eater of Virtue

also pumping up Barbed Servitor creates pretty dangerous dilemma - letting 1/1 through to not suffer blowback isnt the same as 10/10 and with Eater of Virtue even 1/1 can become problem with combination of ton of +1/+1s with flying, lifelink, first strike and deathtouch taken from other creatures

Strengths - decent tempo thanks to green, pretty resilient to targetted creature removal through hexproof instants, lifegain from Deep-Cavern Bat can spiral out of control fast due to amount of pump available and can even be transfered to other creatures. Also sports decent avoidance due to several fliers and again ability to move that avoidance to other creatures.

Weakneses - severe problem with carddraw despite having 3 draw/pseudodraw effects on creatures but all of them require hitting oponent in the face. Doesnt handle artifact/enchantment removal well and is hard countered by any non targetted exile and forced sac also can have issues with forced discard decks, occasionally has issues with getting colorscrewed but has 7 cards to fix that problem unless the color missing is green which is unlikely

landbase can of course be tuned but due to its nature the deck kinda doesnt care about bit slower manabase and creatures can be shuffled around a bit too especially Midnight Assassin that is in due to combination of deathtouch and flying as Eater of Virtue fodder but functions as decent beater/wall as needed when pumped up - specifically i would increse number of Glissa Sunslayer and Halana and Alena, Partners if budget allows and maybe cutting Tinybones, the Pickpocket - he is nice and fun to play with but hard to keep on board when dropped at T1 and later on doesnt have usually bigger impact than any other deathtouch creature would have

UPDATE : moved Tinybones, the Pickpocket and Midnight Assassin into "maybeboard", added other viable replacements there too reshufled some numbers of cards and added Goldvein Hydra into mainboard
