worldfire/oblivion ring

Asked by miracleHat 12 years ago

I Oblivion Ring my own creature, then Worldfire next turn. does the creature come back and then just get exiled? or does it come back as a nice hello?

It comes back. When the Worldfire resolves, the creature is still exiled. The O-ring goes away, and the creature comes back, ready to get you the win.

topshelf7710's correct.

You get bonus points if the O-ring'd creature was a Blisterstick Shaman , or Bogardan Hellkite if it's a multiplayer game.

I prefer to keep a Manabarbs under my ring lol. Just mainboard a Memnite and you win.

Of course, the other option is to NOT mainboard a Memnite , and just run a 61 card deck. Then wait for the rageface.

What about just using a Thragtusk for standard? Green is the easiest way to mana ramp AND you don't have to wait for it to be Oblivion Ring 'd before using Worldfire . Or work out some crazy combo with Venser, the Sojourner and have your permanent exiled before using Worldfire
