Silly question(s) about Kaho, Minamo Historian.

Hi there,

I have a question about Kaho, Minamo Historian 's activated ability. Since it says "X, T: You may cast a card with converted mana cost X exiled with Kaho without paying its mana cost.",I was wondering : what if Kaho, Minamo Historian is used as General, died and return to battlefield? I mean, let's suppose a gameplay like this :

  1. Jim casts Kaho, Minamo Historian ,and it enters the battlefield.
    1. Kaho, Minamo Historian 's triggered ability resolves, let's say Jim exiles Counterspell ,Think Twice and Boomerang .
  2. Tim casts Doom Blade on Kaho, Minamo Historian ,killing it.
    1. Jim puts Kaho, Minamo Historian into his Commander zone.
  3. Jim casts again Kaho, Minamo Historian ,and it enters the battlefield.
    1. Kaho, Minamo Historian 's triggered ability resolves again, let's say Jim exiles Mana Leak ,Vapor Snag and Intuition this time.

So here's the question : what should happen now? Will Kaho, Minamo Historian be able to cast Counterspell ,Think Twice ,Boomerang ,Mana Leak ,Vapor Snag or Intuition any time or will he be forced to use the last three instant cards exiled with his triggered ability (that means Mana Leak ,Vapor Snag and Intuition )?

I think he may be able to copy any of the six, since its activated ability says "You may cast a card [...] exiled with [[Kaho, Minamo Historian][...].".

Thanks in advance :)

Edit :

I think he may be able to copy any of the six, since its activated ability says "you may cast a card [...] exiled with Kaho, Minamo Historian [...].",without specifing when exiled, but,to be sure,I'm asking experts.

When you play Kaho again, it's considered as a new creature, so you'll only be able to cast Mana Leak, Vapor Snag and Intuition since those are the cards exiled by Kaho

Whenever a card uses its own name, it means "this guy, right here". If an object changes zones, the game treats it as a new object. The Re-played Kaho, Minamo Historian is a different object than the earlier one, and its ability can't access the cards exiled by that earlier one.

The rule states :-

"Kaho's activated ability refers only to cards exiled by its triggered ability. If another effect exiled the cards, you won't be able to use Kaho to cast those cards."

So when you replay Kaho you can only cast the cards exiled by him 'the Kaho you just cast', not the other cards because they are from a different source, 'old Kaho'.F.
