What do you think of him?
So, no one says it... Dies to Doom Blade .
Back to the card, it looks interesting. Just about everything Dega could want and confirms my thoughts that a wedge set would focus on the enemy color, like Shards focused on the center ally.
This is going to win some EDH games.

So this is mostly likely a mock up. I seriously doubt that a multicolor card that starts with Z would be number 001.

GoldGhost012 - Remember that this is the version in the Duel Deck, where the two face cards are the first listed cards in order.

sertsew123 - Btw, Doom Blade will rotate once Khans becomes legal, so you have 2 more spots in your deck for other stuff :)

JWiley129 good point. i can imagine why i forgot that the dreaded Doom Blade shall be gone. please tell that same thing to whoever said dies to Doom Blade because it wont be in standard with Doom Blade , it's pretty darn bad in modern, there is worse removal to worry about in edh, and, not to be forgotton, Zurgo Helmsmasher is black and won't "die to Doom Blade "

No, Maro said on his tumblr that the set up will be a core color based on characteristics of dragons. In this case speed (red) and one ally and one enemy color.

He's pretty scary, but with the amount of -2/-2 and more that Theros had, I don't know how much his indestructible will help.

Yeah, Bile Blight gets him.
It may be fun to play him with Iroas, God of Victory though. Gives you a good chance of hitting for 7 or 2 for 1ing them and potentially getting two counters.

GoldGhost012 Again, it's from the duel deck. They can make his number 1 because he has a different set symbol than where he will be printed normally.
Also, the change in the color order might be for the simple reason that W is the central color. (In that W is the one of the three that has 2 enemy colors and B/R are allies.) They might be changing it up for ease of viewing for people who see that kind of thing.

I don't really see a problem with him being RWB instead of WBR. When you think about it, his abilities feels mostly red so it makes sense that his primary color is red.

It's RWB because the Clans dominate color is Red. You can see this within all the clans. Their colors are shown from most dominate to least.

I thought for the sake of clarity people named colors in WUBRG order, which is why Zurgo is WBR, not RWB. Obvious words like RUG and BUG aside.

DaShPrime - I think that they're doing it this way b/c you put the main color in front, and the enemy in the middle. Idk why they changed it though.

Whenever two colors are used together, they are listed according to the shortest path between them on the color wheel. For example, Prophet of Kruphix is GU because G and U have only one other color between them, even though U comes before G in WUBRG order.
With wedges, it used to be that the enemy color was listed first, followed by the allied colors in WUBRG order. I don't know why it's different now.

Epochalyptik Maybe in this case it's because, like others have said, R is the primary color then, going in WUBRG order, you get this: RGWUB > RWB.

Ohthenoises is right. In the graphic Maro showed he listed the colors in order of the main color of each Clan. Abzan is W main with G and B. Jeskai is U main with W and R. And so on.

It's possible, but I really hope that policy is limited to this block. I don't like lore-based templating because it doesn't have rules-based precedents and isn't immediately obvious.

He's a duder alright. I think he has some hilarious abilities, and he works really well in a voltron strategy. You can also ensure that he's the only dude alive, since Mardu (the wedge name) has access to the most (and best) wraths. It should be easy getting 21 commander damage with him at the helm.
