Zoo, Delver, and Fae...

Anyone seeing/building more of these kinds of decks?
I've taken interest in building Naya Zoo and Temur (
) Delver. I've noted that the addition of the Khans reprint fetches add way more consistency with the mana base. They also help out Knight of the Reliquary
, Searing Blaze
, and Grim Lavamancer
, respectively.
I have a friend intrigued with building /
Faeries, but Bitterblossom
and Vendilion Clique
are holding him back. In any case, thoughts and discussion?

RUG Delver seems decent, but in a meta that is at least 50% combo, it's just not very good because it doesn't have enough disruption to make it out of a game. Unfortunately, you don't have the LD package that legacy has, which is a major turn on to play the deck. I feel like BUG delver is the better option for the archetype just because it doesn't insta-scoop to combos.
Fae and zoo are pretty meh. They act very similarly, as in when all the pieces come together, it can steal wins, but they're very clumsy in the current meta and are both pretty weak to SB hate.

Good points, gents. What about the aforementioned decks in a meta with Affinity, Melira Pod, and Gruul Tron, 8 Rack, American Control, Blue Moon, Twin, and RDW/Burn?

Bitterblossom is so worth it's price tag.
U can run it in almost any black deck. I would build Fae of those 3 choices. U can run Vendilion Clique in almost any blue deck...

UR Delver is certainly a thing, pretty solid deck. RUG Delver I like a little less because of worse mana and replacing tempo with Tarmogoyf . You can still play it to success, however.
Naya Zoo just isn't doing powerful enough things to be good. KotR is very good, but an aggro deck that is that slow and has no disruption outside of removal is not going to stand up to faster combo decks and midrange decks.
Fae is interesting. They got Polluted Delta , so the mana is better, and a lot of the cards are really good. It might just be another of the "not powerful enough" decks though.

Isn't there a four color zoo? How does that do? I've also heard of Big Zoo, which is a bit more midrange. How does that perform?

The four colour Zoo deck you mean is Tribal Zoo. It plays actually five colours. for Geist of Saint Traft
and
to get maximum value of Tribal Flames
. I don't kniw how tribal Zoo has performed lately but somebody won one of the last modern PTQ's with Big Zoo.

Zoo is a good deck but easily hated out and is often just a horrible choice in the meta. Like some decks, you have draws they just can't beat and then they side in angers and removal and all kinds of nonsense and just destroy the deck. They can be blind sided by sb hate but I'd rather be playing a deck that is legitamly good against their strategy rather than having a hate card that happens to be so.
RUG delver is an good deck too. The biggest problem is a lack of a way to protect t1 delvers from bolts and other things. Often tempo decks in modern can't get on the board and fall behind quickly with cards that aren't great when your behind. Tarmotwin is similar but a much better deck. It has and plays very similarly to delver but has the combo as a sort of panic button when its really behind but also as a way to force your opponent to hold up mana respecting the combo and protecting goyfs
Fae needs bitterblossom to function. Its the card they need to get mistbind clique to work and mount an offense while tempoing the opponent out. Clique is less of a necessesity as its very good but more of a niche card in modern.
