Good Blue Counter Spell

I'm looking for a couple of blue cards that counter spells for standard? What gets the job done the best?

Thanks, I was looking at rewind but dont know it it would be any better

Sort of depends on your environment. Essence Scatter against creature decks, Negate and Dispel for those that don't. Spell Rupture shows up in creature heavy decks, especially with biggies from green (Like Thragtusk ) and of course, Syncopate if they dare to tap out, great in early game.

Rewind essentially gives you a free counter, but under the stipulation of being able to play it only after your turn 4, assuming you have no mana ramp and you have a land to play each turn. I'd say to have it in the sideboard, since if your meta is largely fast wins through aggro or burn, Rewind won't help you if you're dead turn 3.

Dispel , Dissipate and Syncopate are all strong options, though Rewind is also pretty decent. For multicolour options, Counterflux is a strong choice.
