I just bought a Through the Breach in german. Durch den Durchbruch sounds really funny to me. I expected Kamigawa to have some interesting hits.

Hopeful Eidolon - Hoffnungsfrohes Eidolon. Why does it needs to have a so long name!?

Satyr Rambler with Trample - Umherstreifender Satyr with Verursacht Trampelschaden.

Again, it has so long names!

Scry - Hellsicht :-)

NorthernRaven, Hoffnungsfrohes Eidolon is an accurate translation of Hopeful Eidolon , it just happens to be a long word. But german card names are usally crap. Sometimes WotC seems to use Google Translate. Boza, yes Kamigawa got some nice ones. But as I mentioned earlier most german cardnames sound just stupid. Because of the crappy names, most german players, like me, prefer using english cards.

Champion of the Parish - Champion des Sprengels. Very few people know what a "Sprengel" is (at least in my region), it's used very rarely..

Brutalizer Exarch - Vertierer-Exarch. Many people think "vertieren" was a loanword because it's very unusual. But it's German for "to become an animal".

Elderwood Scion - Spross des Hollerwaldes. "Elderwood" sounds like a very old, awe-inspiring forest. "Hollerwald" just sounds ridiculous.

Tidehollow Sculler - Ruderer der Gezeitenleere. Does "Tidehollow" sound as stupid to English-speaking people as "Gezeitenleere" does to Germans?

Mimic Vat - Bottich der Nachaffung. I... I just... What?

And my absolute favorite:
Dreadship Reef - Riff der Schiffe des Grauens... I mean come on, the English name is great, in German it's just laughable. What's up with that double genitive?

Scuttling Doom Engine - Krabbelnde Verschrottungsmaschine (Scuttling Scrapping Engine)

What does "doom" have to do with scrapping metal? :(

Elvish Mystic = Elfen Mystische

Sounds an awful lot like an elf with a Mustache

Black Lotus = Schwarzer Lotus

one of the best and most expensive cards in the game is not a "schwarz"...

Xenagos, god of Revels = Xenagos, Gott Fruet sich (Xenagos, God is Pleased)

Madcap Skills = Madcap Fahigkeiten

Ive got Fahigkeiten!!!!
