Just wondering what everyone's FAVORITE standard combo (2012) is so far?

Mimic Vat with Sundial of the Infinite , especially imprinting Glimmerpoint Stag .

agree!

Even without the glimmerpoint. Anything that abuses the mimic vat, my old friend, is okay with me.

You would normally sacrifice the token you made with Mimic Vat at the next end step. Sundial of the Infinite , if activated right, skips your end step, so you keep your token longer. Glimmerpoint Stag , is the same thing, just with exiling a permanent.

birdseed is right, but not completely.

What happens is that you want to wait until your end step after using the Mimic Vat /Glimmerpoint Stag , and allow the delayed triggers to go on the stack.

This is when you activate Sundial of the Infinite , which among other things, exiles the trigger. Because Mimic Vat and Glimmerpoint Stag 's abilities only trigger once, much like every delayed trigger, you keep the token forever/something stays exiled forever.

My favorite combo is still Wurmcoil Engine + Momentous Fall .

"I have Metalcraft, so I'll Dispatch your Wurmcoil Engine ."

"I'll cast Momentous Fall and sacrifice it. I gain 6 life, draw 6 cards, and get a 3/3 deathtouch and a 3/3 lifelink. ... Oh, and your Dispatch fizzles."

"FFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUU-"

According to the flavor text:

Elves=America Indians

Eldrazi=Buffalo

It's true. My favorite part of the entire card and all that it does is the subtle reference to Native Americans and their ingenius uses for every body part of a hunted buffalo, allowing them not to waste anything.

Nah, I'm bullshittin' you. I just like saying "You wanna cast another Doom Blade now?"
