Have an idea of what the Theros Demigods might be? Why not mock one up?

Casting cost Mana is supposed to be hybrid w/g.Card Type is supposed to be like the other gods "Legendary Enchantment Creature- God"

Yeah, putting a mana-doubling effect on-color with one of the strongest X-spells ever seems potentially disastrous.

I'd be more than okay with that =D Prophet of Kruphix with all the dumb scary green things, blue to draw and play Detention Sphere ? sounds like my kind of deck lol

If you changed it to like GGWW1 then it would stop it from being played alongside Sphinx's Revelation so easily.

Giving lands hexproof would have little relevance unless Frenzied Tilling and what not become a bigger thing.

Anthousa, Setessan Hero might gain an advantage with it or use it with other things... Mutavault etc.

such a wonderful forum thread, i do however feel as though iroas' colors are wrong for his attack ability, the double strike fits but not so much the tap target creature and opponent controls

The tap ability is a white effect. See Blinding Mage .

@Chubbub good point however i just felt like in this case the attack effect better fits a white/blue like Derevi, Empyrial Tactician

I was hoping Mogis would have a "Minotaur" subtype to go along with "God" and contribute to the growing Minotaur tribal theme.

I don't think the cards will have enough room for that, I think "Legendary Enchantment Creature- God" fills up the available space. I guess they might shrink the type or add "Mogis counts as a Minotaur" to the text box....

I wanted to make Ephara create 0/2 white/blue Cleric enchantment creatures with "Fiend Hunter " or "Banisher Priest " ability, but it was to wordy to have that and a devotion effect, so

I might as well finish off what I imagine this cycle could look like...

And one last idea:
His devotion-dependent ability is supposed to read:
Unless your devotion to red or green is at least 5, Xenagos is not a creature.
If Xenagos is a creature, whenever a creature dealt damage by Xenagos this turn dies, put a +1/+1 counter on Xenagos.

I think they should have gods and goddesses, like to me, pharika is a girls name, along with karametra
December 11, 2013 3:01 p.m.
If "Goddess" would be part of the name, it would take up most of the available space for a name and a descriptor. They decided to have male and female gods. My mock up of Ephara is quite obviously female.

Some revisions to Phenax to clear up nonstandard confusing bits, but I had a devil of a time getting it to fit on the card: (oh, and has/have d'oh)

Well I was right about cards draw and that the devotion could be satisfied by blue or white (I just didn't anticipate the AND or the creativity of the conditions for drawing... and that they would continue relatively low casting cost and fat power/toughness)

Well, I got his name right, but that's about it.

After looking at the BNG gods, I tried out some new ideas...

If Kruphix is the god of time, I figure he has to grant an extra turn... but when?

maybe that should be 1 land, 2 creatures and 3 instants/sorceries... hmmm....

It's definitely interesting. Not having a lot of power balances it out some, but I feel like a double mana effect might be a little too powerful. While it definitely fits, I'm just not sure. Bant Control, Sphinx's Revelation for a million?
