Oh this is very cool... I like this card a lot.... the artwork is amazing... I love everything about this card and would love to see it as a real card... my first instinct is to see what it could do in a Death's Shadow sort if deck.... very interesting card idea!

TypicalTimmy +1 upvote from me love the design and can see this popping off with Doomsday for with second part of the effects last effect and if you could make a scry deck in 4 colors Elminster would be able to utilize the Scry X very well
Also how did you add the art here from MTG.Design? I can't seem to do it myself

Stardragon, after you click the SAVE icon, you copy the small link it gives you. Then, it's popping it into the following field.
The exclamation point links the image. If you don't add that, it'll just hotlink the URL itself.

That's a high cost for a scry and a free card, and I love it! It reminds me of cards like Kaervek's Spite that are all in on what they do. The nice thing here is that the cost scales with what you do. Sacrifice a bigger creature, scry more. Pay more life, most likely get a more impactful card. I really like the vairability here. Fun design!
For the life payment for the top card, should it be worded "You may pay life equal to its mana cost rather than pay it's mana cost"? I feel like it needs to specify the amount from a rules perspective.
