I was wandering how Anointed Procession, Parallel Lives, Doubling Season and Primal Vigor work together. For example if I had all 4 out would I just create 4 extra tokens? Also how would this interact with populate if I had more than one of these out? Sorry for the dumb questions, just want to make sure I get the triggers right.

This should probably go under Rules Q&A.

I believe that each effect triggers once, in the order that you choose (assuming you control all of them and are creating the tokens). So with those four cards out, let's say you play Khalni Garden for a Plant. They all have the same effect, so order doesn't matter too much here. Anointed Procession doubles the effect to two Plants, Parallel Lives doubles Anointed Procession's doubling to create four, Doubling Season doubles that to eight, and finally Primal Vigor triggers, creating sixteen Plants.

Homework question for the day: If there was a card that said "If blah blah blah tokens under your control, it creates that many tokens plus one instead.", what would be the best way to stack triggers?

Missed the second part. Populate works the same way, creating an initial single token. Wake the Reflections gives you one copy of your Plant, trigger x2 Plants, trigger x4 Plants, trigger x8 Plants, trigger x16 Plants and a visit from your local grower's society.

So they arent triggers. They are replacement effects. This means you cannot stifle them and they dont use the stack.

I do know the answer for this. Because I wanted to know what happens if I have Parallel Lives + Divine Visitation out and cast Ezuri's Predation. And what happens is. Both Parallel Lives and Divine Visitation are replacement effects but half of the tokens I create would fight and the other half created by Parallel Lives doesn't.

The biggest thing to remember with cards like Parallel Lives or Doubling Season or even Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet is that the cards that have replacement effects on them usually everytime say "if" and/or "instead" and replacement effects don't use the stack.

So if you had all 4 doubling effects out. It doesn't double like haveing a bunch of damage doublers. If 1 token is created you'll get 5. If 2 tokens are created you'll get 10. If 25 tokens are created you'll get 125 tokens

I think I'm wrong about the doubling effect. But right about the replacement effect.

What makes these effects better is if your able to blink the target creating the tokens....honestly if you do it right you could make a hundred+ tokens a turn I have a flicker trigger deck that has this potential especially in long games it gets worse but you could use [dead eye navigator] to pay and trigger this ability multiple times and use artifacts that make it trigger more for cheap or go for the free one you get once a turn with [thasa deep dwelling] there are other cards just these are the best at what they do in my opinion
