2nd tournament -- Deck requires complete overhaul —Feb. 22, 2018
After losing every matchup two tournaments in a row, I have come to realize that the deck requires a complete revamp if I have any hope of winning in this competitive format.
Still refusing to do what EVERY other lantern player does.. I am NOT going to use Ensnaring Bridge. Instead, I am doubling down on the Ensoul Artifact win con.
Adding Tezzeret's Touch, Tezzeret, Agent of Bolas, Ornithopter, Apostle's Blessing, and Welding Jar.

neosapien Hey man, thanks for the +1 and the comment. Honestly, I've considered it. I DO own a JTMS, but two things.. One, I cringe at the thought of throwing in cards that are so easily shut down by something like Pithing Needle that so many people run in the format these days. And two, if you hadn't noticed, I am trying desperately to keep the mana curve as low as I can. And Jace at a 4cmc just seems too high. Does he provide an alt win con? Yes. Does he fit the running theme of the deck? Yes. But, is he a necessity for the deck? I would argue no. Especially since I would need to be able to Needle away any potential JTMS my opponent may have, further shutting myself down in the process.. I think throwing him in would only give me a very situational advantage.
TLDR: He is too slow, and too easy to shut down.

Why not add Jace, the Mind Sculptor? the +2 is exactly what this deck needs.
