I love the deck idea,
but i would cut a few counter spells for a few copies of Celestial Flare . It helps with red deck wins and Obzedat, Ghost Council . Also one copy of Cyclonic Rift will deal with anyone else running Elspeth, Sun's Champion and Domri Rade

How do you handle Slaughter Games ?

Depends. If they only play 1, that's why I run both AEtherling as well as Elspeth, Sun's Champion , I can win with either one of them. If they Slaughter Games both of those cards, I rely on getting a -8 off of Jace, Architect of Thought ...if none of those are possible, I lose, but in 4 weeks of playing this deck, I've never seen someone play that card! They usually go with Pithing Needle which I just D-Sphere

In my local meta everyone plays at least two in the side board, If it's in their colors.

I know a few people that run them in the side, but I still haven't had one dropped on me. But, it could make things more difficult. Hopefully I can stay on tempo, so, by T4 they're still trying to establish a board presence, or recover from the first Verdict, giving me time to play either AEtherling or Elspeth, Sun's Champion on T6 or 7, before they get around to Slaughter Games
