The pit is a cheaper alternative to the connoisseur which can also make more bodies. Disenchant is cheaper than the purge and at instant speed. I still have Archon of Justice if I need to exile something, and the sacrifice effect was mostly a downside even in this deck, because I need some removal that works even when I don't have a board presence. I love death tyrant's token gen ability and its ability to come back from the dead. I had a hard time settling on a swap for it, but I eventually went with Endrek, as it makes smaller tokens, and I can have less of them around at a time. Finally, I loaned this deck to a friend recently and he told me I need more white mana sources, so I'm replacing a swamp with the campus.
