1.5: hammering out a curve —Feb. 10, 2019

Continuing to tweak things. I think the biggest issue at the moment is probably this deck's curve - it's pretty slow, and extremely weighted towards the 4-drop slot. Would really like to trim things down a bit...

-Counterflux - a bit weak as a counterspell due to its color requirements.

-Windfall - this deck does a lot of hand sculpting, and doesn't run out of cards that quickly. Windfalling is often awkward as a result.

-Dreamstone Hedron - a bit clunky as a mana rock. My primary limiting factor is usually mana though, so probably want to add some more rocks sometime....

-Volcanic Vision - it's fine, but a bit inefficient as a recursion spell, and expensive for a sweeper. I'm of the opinion that more specialized + efficient cards are usually preferable.

+Gamble - relatively fair, as 1 mana tutors go. Still, it's a powerful card - this deck usually just wants a card or two to jump-start a storm turn, so nice to be able to fetch something specific.

+The Mirari Conjecture - testing. The third mode is obviously absurd (if it - and I - don't die before then), but recurring two spells is also decent.

+Thousand-Year Storm - testing. Probably win-more (6 mana is a lot), but still entertaining.

+Aetherspouts - testing. I've been wanting a little more survivability. I should probably just hunt down a Cyclonic Rift or Blasphemous Act though.
