So, I took the ol' gal out to an FNM, and I either had terrible luck or a terrible sideboard. The matches went as follows:

GAME 1: Bant Planeswalkers-Midrange 1-2

-Supreme Verdict is this deck's bane. I would have a nice, rampy start only to have the board wiped. Ajani, Mentor of Heroes had an easy time pumping whatever he needed to push damage through. Detention Spheres shut me down hard, especially when they use it on their own Sylvan Caryatid and take mine with it. Rough.

GAME 2: Bant Control 2-0

I had perfect draws, D-Sphere'd his threats, and combo'd out both games. Poor guy either wasn't piloting right or just didn't understand how I set up.

GAME 3: Esper(?) Control 0-2

Honestly, this deck is god-awful in the control match. This guy countered EVERYTHING he couldn't just D-sphere. I tilted out of frustration, but praised the opponent on his skills. I never saw him cast Dispel, but he always left one blue source open for the rev I couldn't afford to lose. Simply disgusting.

In conclusion; I really think this deck needs a deeper, focused sideboard aimed at the control match-up. I know that Maze's End decks are (almost) an auto-win against W/U decks, so maybe I could slam a playset of that and 1-ofs of the off-color gates for an unexpected win-con. The other option I see is splashing red for Slaughter Games and Boros Charm, which is a less-risky, less change plan.

What do you think?

Tower Defense and Triton Tactics would both be great for this deck, still block fliers. If I had money for Phenax I build this. +1
