In the year of 2020, Wizards brought us Ikoria. In it, we got an interesting IP-tie-in in the form of kaiju beasts from the Godzilla franchise. These sometimes replaced the art on mtg cards appearing in Ikoria. People were in general happy with this approach. Those who liked these cards could sleeve them up and play with them instead of their mtg counterparts, and those who disliked them could ignore them entierly.

Now, fast forward to September of 2020. Wizards give us Secret Lair: The Walking Dead. Coolio. Nothing new, right? Wrong. They've slapped some TWD characters on mechanically unique, black bordered cards and made them legal in EDH, Legacy and Vintage. Of course, you can only buy this at an exorbitant price over the span of a week, but only if you live in select countries. Fun and inclusive, am I right?

The commander of this deck doesn't exist. Not yet anyway. Looking at you WotC...
