A Much needed Recursive shot in the Arm —Sept. 28, 2020

With Zendikar out, I have been making updates to a lot of my decks, and I think that this deck not only needed some tuning, but also just needed an extra bit of recursion to really let things go, especially for late game. Sometimes with this deck, you will have to overextend just a bit to finish someone off, and with these changes, we should be able to mitigate that a little. That being said, heres the update:

Ulvenwald Mysteries ----------------------------------------> Fungal Rebirth:

Dont get me wrong, Ulvenwald Mysteries is a good card in Korvold, especially if you have a lot of Non-Token creatures and sac engines using them. It does keep pumping out Tokens, and does provide fuel for the Game long term: However, as a late game card its not impactful at all and since the deck tends to lean on getting Token creatures to do, its just not as impactful as it COULD be. Thus, I have made this swap: not only do I get a way to recur permanents out of my graveyard, but I also get to provide more creatures, as the card only cares about a creature dying and not if its a token or not. With more tokens, it would be very easy to keep accelerating the Gameplan for the deck, AND it allows some buffer for some of the Removal spells that are SURE to fly your way.

Judith, the Scourge Diva ------------------------------> Eternal Witness:

Like above, Judith is cool, acting almost as a second Mayhem Devil. Sadly, since it only cares about Non-Token Creatures, and I needed some more recursion, an E-Witt turns into getting a powerful combo or ramp spell back from the grave to hand, ready to just pop off again and allows me to keep it going, and even gives me a body to sacrifice for the rest of my "Non-Token" triggers within the deck (and there are several. I just see that the deck leans heavy into Token generation). Thus, the change has been made.

Syr Konrad, the Grimm ------------------------------------------> Viscera Seer:

Yea, I was advised that the deck might need a Seer as just another Cheap sac outlet, and honestly, I 100% agreed. Konrad is dope but He was almost always a dead card and Its nice to have a sac outlet much more frequently, for so cheap. Thus, changed.

Fleshbag Marauder -------------------------> Demon's Disciple:

I mean, we can just look at Plaguecrafter to see why this went in here. While there are some corner cases where you may not remove what you want, the option to force people to sac walkers if they dont have creatures is still enough. Thus, Changed.

Savage Lands -------------------------------------> Swamp:

I am coming to terms that many of the "enters tapped" lands are not actually very efficient, even if they provide great value in return. While I think the temples are worth keeping still, I also believe that having an extra swamp will offset some of the many Black mana symbols within the deck and avoids bad color screws. Thus, the change is made.

I would add Viscera Seer. And Brass's Bounty. And Dreadhorde Invasion. And finally, Krenko, Tin Street Kingpin.

sgvendor Thanks! Brass's Bounty is in here, but I will try to put the other pieces back in. Any suggestions on what to cut?

Syr Konrad should be cut. Slightly irrelevant. Gadrak too, but ymmv for this one. Cut Ulvenwald Mysteries as it is a little less impactful, imo.
