- Added Arcane Signet to this deck. Another nice 2-mana rock that helps to get into the game.
- Castle Locthwain and Castle Vantress both provide some incidental value here without much of a drawback.
- Also adding Mirrormade to this deck. Being able to copy one of two permanent types for 3 mana is a good deal. It reminds me a bit of Phyrexian Metamorph in that regard.

This is a common confusion and understandably so, but the card is in fact legal because the color identity of Crypt Ghast is only black, and not white. This is because the orzhov symbol is displayed in reminder text - recognizable by the (...) and the italic font - and not on text of the actual rules. And reminder text does not influence the color identity of a card.

I ran something like this once. I loved playing my Silumgar deck. Unfortunately I moved onto something else. Was a blast to play though!

Isn't Crypt Ghast illegal because of the white in the card?
