Small Adjustments —Jan. 27, 2017

As doors open, others close. Alas, dear friends, for we must depart with our dear sticky-fingered, web-handed aquatically adept bandit. While expunging our opponent's libraries of their prized and overplayed bands of sunlight is certainly advantageous and helpful, it does not make negotiations well when I have four Sol Rings in play. Due to her limited application and the unfriendly fallout she leaves in her wake, Thada Adel, Acquisitor will be retired from this assimilation of cards.

Regardless, we had good times we did. And as earlier stated, there's the matter of the jar. I mean, the door that's now a jar. No wait, ajar. Yes that's the word. Now, we shall instantaneously greet our new face... er... spell to the collection. Whir of Invention is a card that I've been eager to caress quietly with contemplation as I wait for my turn. Due to the success I've had with it in test games, this blue Mycosynth Lattice-esque Chord of Calling has been added to the deck.

This deck has the potential to be ABSOLUTELY FUCKING VICIOUS!!!

I've always wanted to build this deck, but I know how my playgroup(s) would react to it. But nonetheless, glad I saw someone make it.

I would highly recommend at least an Illusionist's Bracers if not a Rings of Brighthearth as well. +1

Rings of Brighthearth doesn't make that much sense for paying to copy an ability costing , but Illusionist's Bracers I can get behind.

MagicalHacker, that one, in particular, wasn't aimed for the commander. That was for the 3 creatures, 1 enchantment, 1 planeswalker, 4 artifacts, and if wanted, any of the non-mana activated abilities of the lands. But I guess 10~ish cards might not be enough reason to run it, especially when mana can be limited at times.

While I play on a budget and some of these cards are outside what I'd be willing to pay for, this is the kind of deck I'd love to build. I'd enjoy seeing a more budget-minded version of this deck, but I hope it fares well for you!

I almost want to suggest Hedron Crab to abuse the hell out of your commander's activated ability. for reasons of great shenanigans.

Best deck description i've ever had the pleasure to read, not close.
Some ideas: Rush of Knowledge seems like it could do some work with a commander this expensive. Inspiring Statuary is able to make use of all the artifacts that don't tap for mana already, which is a pretty high number in your deck.
