First Games! —March 2, 2013
So guess what? First game out of the gate and I won. Even after I got the first kill (4 players) by discarding 13 lands at once. Not totally sure how that worked, basically no one cares until I can kill them at instant speed, and after that no one cares cause I can't do anything cause I just used all my hand to kill someone. I just barely squeaked by on that one, actually getting the kill with Staff of Nin.
In the second game it tied for second place. I wasn't playing it though. Can't wait till I actually get some of the stuff for it cause that'll be awesome when it can actually do some nice combos and stuff.

oh god, i totally forgot about that combo. I used to use is in the deck I stole my loam from. thanks for reminding me

yeah, in the actual build I'm missing a few of the cards so there are actually like 85-90ish lands

You should run Sasaya, Orochi Ascendant for tons of mana ramp. Maybe some X spells or Kessig Wolf Run too for mana sinks. +1

Storm Cauldron would be a blast. As well as some good 'ol card draw Wheel of Fortune maybe?

Actually my favorite card draw in red is probably Knollspine Dragon ...which could easily be a winner with borby

Ummm....Tranquil Thicket and Forgotten Cave ? They Combo with Life from the Loam ... Play life from the loam, Returning 1 cycle land and 2 others. Discard the two others to borb. Cycle the land, Dredge Life from the loam. Get more lands back to your hand. Repeatable 6 damage for 3 mana? Yes please
