6-1-2 last 3 FNM's —June 28, 2014
Have been busy working so have only been playing four thirty FNM with 45 minute rounds. But the deck is performing well, garnering me plenty of store credit.
Most of the matchup are against mono-black and variants which are good, with a few aggro matchups with are favorable, and control matchup which is a toss-up, and 1-1 against mirror constellation brews (different decks of course).
This deck has been super fun to play, 4C is legit...
Knock yourself out. Me personally i find that archetype to be miserable to play against, likely would not have fun playin it as well.

Why not Sphinx's Rev while you are playing the U/W colors in a mid-range? It does everything you want to do, and you have no problem getting a ton of mana for it. It also gives you something to do with your Mana Bloom on their turn which is sweet.

Why not indeed... i put a playset of Ashiok in the main replacing 2 Rapid Hybridization and 2 Golgari Charm. My reasoning is that it's a present threat that attracts removal towards it and away from the enchantment creatures and Elspeth.
i ran Rapid Hybridization
mostly as an answer to Stormbreath Dragon
though it's also handy against Blood Baron of Vizkopa
and Obzedat, Ghost Council
. But most of the time i hated seeing the card in most matchups and scenarios, and ultimately my matchup against Jund Monsters or any variation of a Red deck using Stormbreath as a primary finisher was just bad.
So i decided to use Ashiok, Nightmare Weaver mostly because it almost serves as a defense in that i have a decent chance of using my opponents creatures against them. And in every other matchup Ashiok is a threat that varies from moderate to insane, depending how the game plays out.
So that goes back to your suggestion of Rev... Because i feel if i jam 3 or 4 in this deck, that it likely would fill the Ashiok slot... And so i guess my dilemma is, should i cut the Ashioks and if not what cards should i cut? And then the question is will it really improve the deck. Lifegain, card draw super good, but by taking out Ashiok, i now am missing a card that deflected heat off my early life total, and gave me a possible out to cards i just can't deal with.
So i guess i will have to test...

I honestly feel like you dont need Underworld Coinsmith if you added Sphinx's, plus you need some instant speed removal, namely Abrupt Decay and Hero's Downfall. I would say drop a couple Ashiok's (if not all... there is a reason no one plays him competitively xD) and drop the Coinsmiths, and bring in more instants. Just my 2 cents

Thanks for the feedback, i'm going to give it a try. Sphinx's Rev i'm going to move to 3. i feel i don't want one in my opening hand, i already have redundancy on card draw with Eidolon of Blossoms , i could see game where i might bury myself in card advantage... i went to 2 Underworld Coinsmith because honestly the gain life was truly secondary to his ability to drain life. The card is fantastic when you are within an impasse and everything is locked down, just tap mana and drain. The Rev's synergize with this strategy, so cutting them completely out of the deck i feel would be a mistake. Finally for instant speed removal i went the Downfall and Cyclonic Rift . i have enough early defense and reach with the enchantment removal, i don't really need Abrupt Decay though i really do like the card...

Why not just play Mazes End Turbo Fog with this guy? with Seruli gatekeepers or one of those versions.
