I once built a land destruction deck with Liquimetal Coating in mind. It works very well, though I don't often go after lands anymore.

Have you thought about the Painter's Servant + Pyroblast /Red Elemental Blast combo?

Yes, reconaissance, but I think a creature is esier to destroy or remove than an artifact like Liquimetal Coating . Anyway, it's a very good combo.

Roiling Terrain and Melt Terrain look like they could find a home here

@asasinater13: I had Roiling Terrain , but with the Liquimetal Coating + Splinter combo, I risk that the opponent has no land in his/her graveyard.

fair enough. Melt Terrain could still see use with that, though
