Must admit I like the dragons, i'd love to run them in my Selesnya Deck but the feel slow to appear, how do you keep them alive against decks with loads of removal? or do you find your quick creatures + hardened scales draw out removal early?

Would Enduring Scalelord be a nice fit for this deck? How about Citadel Siege or Dragonscale General to keep pressure on late game?

Has Rogue's Passage paid off for you? is it worth running more or would that impact your mana fixing too much?

Plus, I'm pinching surge of righteousness for my sideboard, ty! :)

DraftBorg To answer your comments in order. The early cards tend to get hit by removal since they ramp high fast and usually force the removal. The cards I run to help deal with this are the Feat of Resistance, Inspiring Call, and if the removal is a heavy destruction form I will side in the Valorous Stance.

While the dragons can be a bit slow at 5 mana they are powerhouses and hard to remove through damage spells making them very good vs red. I will not lie that I do have some trouble playing them and having the mana open to protect them afterwards but its a one turn risk that you can take at times because of using the early crads to force out certain removal.

Enduring Scalelord ability sounds like it would work in the deck but is too slow since it costs 6 mana and I think the other 2 dragons are just stronger options.

Citadel Siege is a great card for decks like this but I decided against it since It would throw my balance of cards for utility off. I am not saying its not worth running but decided not to is all.

Dragonscale General is a giant trap. The ability sounds nice but when you take it to consideration its X bolster is for tapped creatures makes it hard to use if your opponent has done something to prevent you from attacking at the moment and you have no way to tap your creatures. I like the concept of the card but would rather not use.

Rogue's Passage sits at one in the deck because it's a land card that has nice a nice function but troublesome to draw early game because of my reliance one double costs. I am thinking of adding a second to the deck after I get hold of the dual lands to help fix mana. Lastly yes this card has manage to win me games because I could get around cards like Hornet Nest where my opponent would gain from my creatures hitting theirs. While that card has just rotated out it will still be useful because it will let me get around troublesome situations and allow my to go for face with at least on creature.

Deck updated for more serious minded folks. This is what I currently run in the deck and have found it runs with a good pace. While control decks can be troublesome for it, you just accept you are going to have to play a slower game some hands and play smart.

I am debating on including Abzan Falconer but not sure which card to pull out. Think I might pull Endless One to make room but willing to here suggestiongs.
