4-0 FNM: Couldn't be more diverse. —Oct. 21, 2016
I only faced oneaggro , one combo, one control and one midrange deck. The metagame was very diverse, though the regulars were mostly on control.
The Matches
-
2-0 against WR Humans aggro. Usually a good deck, it just came out too slow for him. I have a lot of removal in the sideboard, and game 2 went even easier (he was color-crewed). Sided in Dead Weight, Gnarlwood Dryad, Appetite for the Unnatural and To the Slaughter; Out: my top end.
-
2-0 against Temur Marvel. This is a very poor match-up for Delirium. However, he whiffed on both Aetherworks Marvel activation (once each in game 1 and 2), so that was that. I still can't believe Lost Legacy doesn't hit artifacts! In: Transgress the Mind, Pick the Brain
-
2-0 against Grixis control. A similar deck to the one that won the Pro-tour, but Gearhulk-less. He was running Sphinx of the Final Word instead: ok, but nowhere near as good. Game 1 he countered my Grapple with the Past I played on his turn 3, which allowed me to resolve Liliana, the Last Hope on my turn 3 and proceed to out-grind him, through Lili's -2 ability and similar abilities (Grapple with the Past and Traverse the Ulvenwald. He simply couldn't manage Spider tokens. Game 2 was very similar, with Lili turn 3 once again.
-
2-1 against Naya Superfriend. Game 1, I mulled to 5 and drew my top end afterwards. Since I had no play for the first 4-5 turns, that game ended when he used an ultimate on both Tamiyo, Field Researcher and Nissa, Voice of Zendikar
, on the same turn!. Game 2, he had the upper hand, however Emrakul, the Promised End ruined his board and won me the matchup. Gamee 3, he was severely mana-screwed.

Need sleep. I nearly feel asleep on at my desk.

The deck feels and runs very well. I don't believe there's more in GB to add. The combo decks look very strong against us.
