Nice deck, I've been messing around with a couple GW versions of this concept, one more aggro and one that's more ramp-focused with more top-end threats.
I also considered building in some landfall to synergize with Kodama, but ultimately decided against it because the landfall pieces were a little too reliant on that one card to be effective. I feel like you might have the same problem here, with Emergent Sequence and Environmental Sciences being your only other mini-enablers to get one land apiece. With only a handful of cards to fetch lands and only 22 lands, there could be a good chunk of games where the landfall cards don't do much.
Therefore I might recommend moving away from the landfall strategy and using those slots for more ramp and/or big threats that synergize well with counters. Some ideas:
-
Planeswalkers like Elspeth Resplendent and The Wandering Emperor benefit from Ascendancy, and all of their abilities are relevant to your deck..
-
Jugan Defends the Temple Flip can fill a lot of roles including ramp, counters, and a must-kill threat.
-
Sigarda's Summons is a solid 1- or 2-of to insta-win on a stalled board, or to make all of your creatures big threats against control.
-
Sanctuary Warden is a big threat that protects itself and feeds off your counters for card advantage.
A couple other cheap cards that you might consider are Ollenbock Escort to protect creatures you've invested a lot of counters into and enable you to attack aggressively, and Ranger Class which is obviously just a good card that fits your strat and gives you some extra gas if they game goes too long. Orochi Merge-Keeper is another interesting one but for 3 colors I like Emergent Sequence and Gala Greeters better.

Triumph of Gerrard is not that good, I'd run more creatures instead.
Adeline, Resplendent Cathar is a very strong human, I suggest at least 2 copies.
Esper Sentinel is pretty expensive so I understand if you can't afford it, but he's a really strong 1 drop that gets stronger as it gets buffed by Aspirant or Lieutenant.
Fiend Hunter for some more removal.
If you need to cut any cards, I'd suggest cutting Ollenbock Escort first. Then probably Tithe Taker. Taker doesn't seem too good because the Afterlife ability creates a spirit, not a human, and it only taxes on your turn.
I don't know if you plan to have a sideboard, but Sanctifier en-Vec and Sanctum Prelate are strong sideboard options in mono white for humans.

YESSSSS!!!!!! Gaddock Teeg didn't die, he planeswalked!
Teeg, Cenn of Kinsbaile
Legendary Creature - Kithkin Advisor
If a spell or ability an opponent controls causes you to discard Teeg, Cenn of Kinsbaile, or another permanent card, put it onto the battlefield instead of putting it into your graveyard.
If a source an opponent controls would cause Teeg, Cenn of Kinsbaile to leave the battlefield, exile it instead. Return it to the battlefield at the beginning of your next upkeep transformed.
2/2
Gaddock Teeg, the Wise
Legendary Planeswalker - Teeg
+1: Create a 1/1 white Kithkin creature token. Add if an opponent controls more lands than you.
-2: Exile target creature an opponent controls with mana value 3 or more until Gaddock Teeg, the Wise leaves the battlefield.
-8: You get an emblem with "Whenever a player spends more than three mana in a turn, search your library for a permanent card and put it onto the battlefield."

I'd like to see an midpack uncommon for draft. Something okay, but not at all great or impressive. Radiant Grace Flip, Ollenbock Escort, Into the Night,Dread Fugue, and Retrieve are great examples.
Basically, like a somewhat playable card in limited, but interesting/efficient enough that it wouldn't be a common.
