Whenever an opponent casts a spell, you have five seconds to choose a keyword you haven't chosen for a card named Modular Monstrosity today that's been printed on a creature card. If you do, Modular Monstrosity gains that ability. Otherwise, Modular Monstrosity loses all keyword abilities.

, Exile all cards you own in all zones and remove them from exile into the "never in the game in the first place" zone then put target deck from the same format from outside the game where your library was. Shuffle it and draw 7 cards then continue with mulligans.
If I was playing my other deck you would be so dead right now.
make an unset card that does something unique
e.g. Goblin Game, Modular Monstrosity or any of the gotcha cards

I've never played with any un-cards, but generally whenever a text on a card refers to a card by its name it is translated in the cases of copying as "this permanent" rather than the printed name.
706.10b A copy of an ability has the same source as the original ability. If the ability refers to its source by name, the copy refers to that same object and not to any other object with the same name. The copy is considered to be the same ability by effects that count how many times that ability has resolved during the turn.
For example if Mirage Mirror died while copying The Scarab God it will get returned to its owner's hand at the end of turn, regardless of the fact that it is not considered a creature or The Scarab God while in the graveyard. So Phoebe, Head of S.N.E.A.K. will permanently have the text and refer to herself in all instances of the name Modular Monstrosity in her newly acquired text box.
As for the other question I can think of Pongify, Beast Within and Polymorphist's Jest.

Does Phoebe, Head of S.N.E.A.K.'s ability to steal abilities change any instances of the card's name to her name? For example, if you stole Modular Monstrosity's ability, would it change who get's the keyword, or would Modular Monstrosity still get the new keywords? Also, could you reuse the same keyword it already has if you stole Modular Monstrosity from an opponent?
Also, does Phoebe lose any abilities she's stolen when she changes zones?
On an unrelated note, are there any cards other than Rapid Hybridization and Gift of Tusks that turn creatures into weird animals?

I think that the hexproof works well for Jack to represent his thinker power while the first strike deathtouch works well for representing the extended knife.
As for Crawler, I think Modular Monstrosity is a home run, instead of regenerate you can give him hexproof or indestructible, but if too much happens at once, he's not going to keep up. Not that I've ever managed to play the darn card.
You are completely right on Jaya/Burnscar and I need to get one now.
Also my playgroup has determined that Norin is Manton instead, since Oni Lee wasn't really a member, and making Hack Job was never really worth it.
