Core players remain, tweaked out some cards for cards I already had. I traded for Purphoros Hammers but it's just inanimate in a deck that's moving. Since it's not equipment it's a dead card with text. I wanted haste. Lightning Greaves gives me haste and protection at an instant with my equipment swapping cards. I upgraded Browbeat for Risk Factor as an instant on my opponents turn than using up good mana on my turn. Trying Burning Oil over Lightning Helix for the flashback text of having some late game burn available if needed. I like these Swiftblade Vindicator for the angry little package they come in. I could use some advice on sideboard. Maybe more dual protection swords depending on the opponent in there.

I'd like to point you towards the Legends art for Holy Day, Grafted Skullcap, or even Skullclamp (more recent art). Though, how about Quest for Renewal of the Temple instead of Quest for Ula's Temple so it fits the theme, but isn't a completely dead card?

I get the exclusion of Temple of the False God, but any reason to leave out Temple of Enlightenment, Temple of Plenty, or Temple of Mystery? Just a budget concern? Totally understandable, but it might be worth making the room for them.

Unfortunately, you can't use Pious Evangel  Flip since the reverse is black. However, if you had black, that would open you up to Midnight Oil, which is so on point it hurts. About as much as not being able to run Burning Oil or Glistening Oil.

Magus of the Candelabra is inspired, I'm kind of sad it wasn't mentioned in the episode. I completely forgot that Candelabra of Tawnos got a Magus. Though, you could probably also run Magus of the Library as well, as a keeper of the holy books.

WMichaeli on Color by Identity?

It threw me off too, I always thought that the color identity of the card was determined by the initial mana cost used to cast the spell and not the cost of any Flashback/Ability activation costs. Although, it did end up helping me out in the end because I didn't realize that Burning Oil used White in it's Flashback; I'll be looking out for this in the future.

I guess what is missing in my post is that cards like Burning Oil, Feeling of Dread, Unburial Rites, and Wild Hunger do not show up as gold cards. This is what happens when you're doing too many things while trying to post on your phone.
