Hello and welcome to my Dredge deck. This deck was based off of the legacy variant, landless dredge but due to bans and inconveniences, it has lands anyways.

The goal of the deck is to mill yourself, play Goryo's Vengeance to revive Griselbrand and either beat the crap out of your opponent or draw out your deck with 7 dredge triggers. Once drawn out, Persist a Thassa's Oracle for game!
At the beginning of the match, we want to find 2 cards 1 Persist and 1 Goryo's Vengeance. Without these, we won't be able to revive our win cons. So either get a good mul, or stall out until we get them. Once done, we can start the Dredge.
This is where we start to have fun. We need to start Dredging out our deck. I Utilize a Lotleth Troll to discard our dredges so we don't have to wait for them to die, plus he can be good at bonking or blocking. Utilize extra draws from cycles or Mishra's Baubles to trigger more dredges. Keep at it until Griselbrand is in grave. With that in mind, we can enter the end game
Use a Goryo's Vengeance to get out your Griselbrand, Vengeance will only last for the turn so make it count. Once Griselbrand is on field, use his draw to trigger alot of dredges to hopefully draw yourself out or pretty close to it then end the game with a Persist + Thassa's Oracle.

That's the game plan, please give me some suggestions on how to make the deck stronger and work properly. Obviously this deck isn't competitively viable due to it being slow in its current state but I'll be testing it on Untap website and seeing how it performs and adjusting. Give me some suggestions and I'll make changes to see if it can work out.

Thanks for reading! Give me a upvote if you like the deck idea and check back in for updates every once and a while!

So I was thinking about utilizing a different variant of the deck that involves Lotleth Giant + Creeping Chill. This variant is gonna be doing more damage oriented win cons but the downside is 1 graveyard exile and your done. granted, same thing with this deck but i feel like it hurts alot more with the giants but ill do some testing. Need to find cards that can deal with graveyard hate.

Dimir Infiltrator is something im gonna experiment with, the Transmute to fetch for Goyro can prove useful. I find myself waiting to draw Goryo before i start dredging that way i can mill Grisel and do his draw then draw my cards until i grab Persist then dredge the rest of my cards so i can go for the win. Having a way to fetch for it can make this easier to do. If you find any other fetches in the mayboard, they are there for the same reasoning.

Scholar of the Ages is a strange one but could help without relying on waiting on just goryo. The idea is that if you have Goryo, you can dredge grisel and bring him out, draw until you get persist then dredge your deck out but with this, i can start dredging with persist only in hand. Mill second persist and a goryo then Persist a Scholar to get both spells to your hand. Now your in business. Its a little Niche but i think it will have a pretty strong effect on my games to make it more consistent.

Updates Add

Removed Lotleth Trolls for Ghostly Pilferer. it can discard anything, provide draw, and easier to cast. just less aggressive is all but i figure it would be worth it.
