I started playing EDH in 2011 and am an active participant in the Chicago EDH scene. Building unique decks and supporting the philosophy that "fun > winning" are important to me. As the format becomes more popular and decks become more powerful, I try to advocate for janky/weird/aesthetic/experimental styles. These decks are the most fun and interesting, but I fear they are slowly being edged out of many playgroups. This is definitely... something haha. Out of curiosity why would you want to Restore Balance? Is it just a reset if one opponent gets out of control? Also what's the play with Selective Memory?

Hey capwner you're right Temporal Mastery would definitely work well here. I actually play this deck in sort of a weird way where I like to give the other players a chance. I don't activate the belcher during my turn typically; I like to hold it as a rattlesnake and pop it during an opponent's turn if they try to win or disrupt me. So in that way I don't really want extra turns although you are right that it would be strategically smarter. Also my friends frown upon extra turn effects yet they tolerate nonsense like this deck haha, go figure.

UnstoppabellArt I'm shocked! There are like 30 low-cost mana rocks in here. I usually have no problem getting Prismatic Bridge out turn 4. Seems plenty fast to me. I suppose you could cut the counter magic for rituals if you really needed to guarantee an early win.

Heya, coming from your Belcher deck I just wanted to mention I also made a 5c Belcher list and thought you may like to check it out for inspiration. Mine is very different from yours, in additional to belcher I built around using high cmcs and Timesifter and some other f*cked up stuff.
