who should my commander be

I want to build an artifact commander deck, but am wondering if i should go american with Narset, Enlightened Master or boros with Jor Kadeen, the Prevailer. anyone have suggestions
Why not try it with Jor first, then if you feel it needs the blue, try Narset.

Narset will draw a level of hate that your deck will not be able to deal with.
Jor will not see that hate. There are many commanders that will deal more directly with artifacts. The new red walker commander from C14, Arcum Dagsson, Sharuum the Hegemon, the white walker has some potential with it too.

I find that Jor Kadeen, the Prevailer is much more entertaining to play, Narset is more of a extra turns kind of general.
Also I would suggest Arcum Dagsson or Muzzio, Visionary Architect if you want to do blue artifacts. They are much more entertaining.

Personally between the 2 I like Jor Kadeen, the Prevailer more but Deretti, Scrap Savant is best for a artifact deck.

Jor Kadeen can be made with more general synergy and less dependence on the commander. Narset sounds like it would be dependent on the commander in a sort of fragile way possibly comparable to Jhoira of the Ghitu. Of course that depends on how much the deck was built that way - but I could see it going that way.
On the other hand, having access to more card draw would help a lot in EDH. There are artifacts that let you draw cards, but that is a huge drawback of strict boros in edh.

I've played a few dozen games against narset and.... everyone hates her. Do yourself and play the greatness that is jor kadeen. Though, if you want artifacts.dec, I'd maybe consider something a bit more durdly, like the aforementioned daretti, Bosh, Iron Golem, Hanna, Ship's Navigator, or Sharuum the Hegemon.

Daretti has some wicked combo potential ala reanimator style shenanigans.

A good Sharuum the Hegemon deck will draw just as much hate as a Narset, Enlightened Master. In terms of power, Daretti offers some pretty awesome shenanigans, although I'm guessing a Jor Kadeen, the Prevailer deck would be pretty fun to play.

It's more of if I should add blue to the deck. Also, if anyone thinks that they are both crappy and i should do something totally different, be free to say so
