Even though lands are technically colourless (with the exception of Dryad Arbor ), would EDH colour identity rules prevent someone from including something like Temple of Silence in an Isamaru, Hound of Konda EDH deck since it has both white and black mana symbols on it?

Yes. Color identity is not the same as color; even though lands are colorless, they can have color identities. Temple of Silence is colorless with a W/B color identity.

You can only have lands that taps for mana in your commanders colors. So no, Temple of Silence is not legal in a Isamaru, Hound of Konda EDH deck.

It has a mana symbol in its text. It has those color identities.

However, it should be noted that you should use something such as Arid Mesa .

Also, something that a lot of newer players aren't aware of, basic lands technically have T: add X to your mana pool. This gives them a color identity and makes it so you can't run any basic lands in a Karn, Silver Golem deck.

New Benalia is what you would use instead of Temple of Silence .

The example I gave was just the first one I thought of, just to confirm the ruling for my pod.
