Budget Commander with Jace

Hello everyone, since my favourite planeswalker lore-wise is Jace i would like to ask for some suggestions for a deck (not competitive, with a base around 100$ that can be upgraded eventually) in which one of his cards can play an important role. Of course he doesn't have to be necessarily the commander of the deck..

Hey, make your deck here at this site? Edit the topic with a link to your deck and if you would like I will help you with it. For your budget of $100 I suggest a mono blue or two color deck. I wouldn't go three or more colors because the manabase will be bad with such a low budget. Mono blue lets you add quite a few other expensive cards because you don't have to worry as much about getting dual lands for the manabase since it's all Islands.
To start out consider choosing one of these options?
- Baral, Chief of Compliance as mono blue.
- Brago, King Eternal as Azorius.
- Niv-Mizzet, Parun as Izzet.
Brago is interesting with any Jace Planeswalker because you can blink Jace to use his loyalty ability again for the turn. You can do this for as many Planeswalkers as you have on the battlefield. This is actually pretty good with budget Jace, Architect of Thought to get two mini Fact or Fiction each turn or Jace Beleren to draw two cards a turn. Add Oath of Teferi and Oath of Gideon for more blink/Planeswalker goodness :) Azorius also has quite a few good/playable budget dual lands to use in the manabase.

I would check out EDHrec for suggestions like that, they have a bunch of filters to help you find what you want.
