This deck is essentially a mono black deck, splashing a bit of red to access Mishra, Lost to Phyrexia

I have the powerhouse Sheoldred, the Apocalypse in this deck as well, and she does her job. If she doesn't close out the game herself, she will generally force the opponent to use their removal on her instead of either of the combo pieces Mishra, Claimed by Gix   or Phyrexian Dragon Engine  .

Dream Devourer is one of my favorite cards in black as it let's you cheat in more expensive cards sooner, and it protects your bombs from discard as well. Paying 5 mana for Virtue of Persistence will always feel good when you can do it. It should also be noted that when you foretell an adventure card, you can still decide which side of the card to play, so if you need the extra removal or lifegain from the instant, it would only cost one mana.

This deck is very fun
