Well. This is awkward. —March 22, 2018
In a sudden twist of ill fate, it turns out that my combos don't work!
See ruling debate here and discussion in the comments.
This is an unfortunate blow, to be sure.
BUT. I was brewing this deck before the supposed combo came out, and damn it all if I don't continue brewing after it's been debunked! Moma didn't raise no quitter!
The good news is that no major structural changes are needed. The above-average sunforger package is still here. The Neheb/Ogre/Sanctum + X-Spell combo is still here. the value is still here, and this deck will still work.
So in light of these developments, here are the initial changes:
Out:
- Samite Ministration
- Spiritualize
- sobs quietly in corner
- Stonehewer Giant: It is now less mandatory to get sunforger out at this cost. Curve cutting.
IN:
- Rolling Earthquake This and
- Molten Disaster two big X-spells for my mana generators!
- Wild Ricochet great sunforger target
Still looking for new ideas in the coming days and weeks.

The rules wont change, unfortunately. It actually sucks, but I dont see wizards changing rulings on a card that just came out just to make an infinite loop possible. Still, theres plenty of fun and fair things to do with F&S, lets just hope WotC doesnt ruin those too.

Well if those changes did go through, there would be plenty of other rule changes that would have to follow, or at least it would go into other cards. I can't think of any off the top of my head, but those rulings have stopped me from either dying or deck ideas I've had.

LemurLime he is aware of this. To quote his deck description "Note on legality: My playgroup has allowed me to run Painter's Servant for this deck. No degenerate combos allowed."

Long story short, a trigger from spiritualize gains me life, not the spell, so it doesn't trigger F&S
That's Minotaur shit! hahaaa! Hold out hope for a rules change!
In light of this atrocity, the deck will need a restructure. I will get around to an update by Saturday.
