Hidetsugu, Devouring Chaos It's neat.

Mechtitan Core I dunno... It does give a way to get an advantage out of losing Mairsil if you pay for the effect in response to removal. Really though this is a rather causal gimmick.

Undercity Scrounger It's possible to have Mairsil make a treasure token every turn with this. Not just my turns but every turn. Curiosity is peaked.

Nothing else stood out as anything worth considering. Mechtitan is already pushing the bounds of "considerations" rofl.

Having just watched this video. I find myself interested in doing something similar with Mairsil. I'll have to determine the right 'foundation' to 'random' for this deck but I think Mairsil is a superb commander to do something like this with. Tricky part will be the combos... Perhaps I leave 1 combo as part of the 'foundation' or set up a way to add in a random combo. So many cards in Magic that I'm always a little curious about playing here though. It'll be great fun to do this and actually play those cards!

This spoiler seems like it could be pretty busted here. Particularly along side Tree of Perdition.

May as well swap the Diabolic Tutor for a Grim Tutor unless you're opposed to losing life.

Candlekeep Sage could easily be as good or better than a Rhystic Study here.

Maestros Charm is just a solid charm.

As I return to using this deck I find myself uninterested in tutors. Something this deck has rather relied upon in the past and still does... I've ordered some additional cards for the deck, once they arrive I'll be dropping the tutors and I'll start testing the deck as a whole all over again xD This is not an advisable thing to do. Tutors are among the strongest things you can do, especially with a combo deck. Like this one. I'm just tired of the same old predictable solutions I always seek out.

I was looking over things today and saw Encroaching Mycosynth and started thinking about planeswalkers ....but...

606.3. A player may activate a loyalty ability of a permanent they control any time they have priority and the stack is empty during a main phase of their turn, but only if no player has previously activated a loyalty ability of that permanent that turn.

Sometimes rules are really annoying xD This would mean, even if you have 6 loyalty abilities, only being able to use one on each of your turns.... Not worth it for the hoops. Funny though. Better just using artifacts and creatures where, like Endling, all it's abilities could be used every turn.
