so with wallisface 's help i came up with this deck. i added the riddlesmiths, as i realised I needed some way to dig deeper into my deck.

You need a way to get createrhoof back into your library when you draw it (or run 2?) so you don’t auto-lose in those situations.

I also don’t get why you’re running Thragtusk or so many lands (surely 20-22 would suffice??)

wallisface thanks for the the input.

for the craterhoof behemoth problem, i was thinking of using Gaea's Blessing or Noxious Revival if it lands in the graveyard. some scrying would be nice to prevent me of drawing craterhoof. just put it on the bottom. and its propably wisest to play more than one craterhoof.

i put in Thragtusk so i could neoform something from Frogmite , but i am not against scrapping those if i need place for something else. thragtusk is just a good card for stalling the game, cause of the live gain and being able to block and "replace" itself upon dying.

24 lands is what i normaly play. i am looking into the manabase of other affinty decks to adjust and notice that most of them even run fewer lands than 20 i was hesitant to throw in Mox Opal s into the deck, because of the high cost, but since i realised that i could could create the ideal version of this deck tey are going in ;P

Other additions i think you should consider:

Replace the basic lands with snow lands. This’ll let you run Arcum's Astrolabe (probably run 4, in place of the thragtusk and 2 frogmite). which’ll help with your affinity while also drawing you towards your wincon.

I’d also suggest running 3 Signal Pest (probably in place of the other 2 frogmite, and one thoughtcast). They’ll help you swing with the small dudes while you’re getting set up for your nonsense.

I’d probably swap the remaining thoughtcast for Ancient Stirrings as they have a chance to let you tuck a craterhoof to the bottom of the deck - but both these spells are good so not sure which route is better

wow those are some awesome recomendations and fixes.

didnt even consider ancient stirrings but it seems pretty good, searching for artifacts and putting behemoth at the bottom... great!

i added the suggested stuff, cut the thragtusk and am now at 60 cards. you may notice that i still have frogmites and thoughcast, thats because i wasnt even at full 60 cards. left it open to be really flexible.

i will test this build out a little bit and see where it lacks.

thank you very much wallisface
